[New] Windows on the fly live WEBDEFF_EDiTOR Tool

We are currently working on a unique windows standalone html5 JS WebGL based live editor.
After toying around with mrdoobs threejs and antoine santos codef libs.
I noticed that there where only online solutions for the scripts to edit work and run.
Or you must install a server package like Wamp or a expensive webscript editor like Adobe to make it work and run on your local system .
A lot of hussle and work and not a thing that is attractive for beginners.
So this gave us the idea to create a solution to make it easier to start and learn coding.
We decided to use the Codef lib as a starting point for the editor tool.
Codef stands for Canvas Oldskool Demo Effects its a js lib created by Antoine Santos.
A lot of people are creating intros and demos with it and there is even a great remakes site called WAB that contains a lot of Scene Groups remakes from the old days C64 Atari ST Amiga Dreamcast PSX.
Our Editor wil be a stand alone Windows program that contain some of these canvasjs Codef remakes inside( see screenshot )
So people can start immediatly testing and editing the included code samples on the fly.
The editor works live in combination with Google Chrome on the installed Windows system.
The editor wil be a multifunctional tool that can be used by beginners and the more experienced webdevelopers.
We hope to bring our first public release soon.

Finished the first beta version of the CODEF_EDiTOR today
And added a nice Windows installer to install and uninstall the program like normal windows software.

Sended out the beta version to some people that support this project to test it out first before we make a public release.

Update :

The project is stil alive and we are working hard on the background to finish the first public release.
We have received loads of positive reactions from our betatesters and everything looking good so far
We have got the aproval from some codef sceners like dagon and mellowman to use some of their great codef remake codes to ship inside our package.
Thanx so much guys for your support and enthousiasm.

What are we working on :
Some suggestions made by our betatesting team to improve the editor ...

Adding some interesting contents like : music, gfx, bobs, fonts, glsl, webgl, particles, shaders,
Awaiting aproval from LHSchiptunes to use some of his magical tracks inside our sample packages....

Chiptune2JS player

im planning to change the player lookings change the bright orange to gray.
The user is able to drag drop chiptunes on it which automaticly plays then.
There is also the option to search their local stored chiptunes and play them.
The included playlist wil be filled and dedicated to LHS with some of his masterpieces.

One of the main reasons why i started to build this editor tool was to make live easier for the people that want to start and learn Webbased Demo EFFects Coding.(WebDEFF)
Saving them the pain to get a webhosting account arranged and giving them a free opensource software solution full with interesting live samples editors and tutorials they can immediatly test out and study them. in realtime action.
To make this editor even more interesting for educational purposes and more advanced users i have managed to include a great way to open PDF/eBooks inside the Editor.
There are loads of Ebooks and PDF Tutorials written to master al kinds of WebDEFF coding languages like GLSL WEBGL JS HTML.
And how cool is it that you have access to them inside the same Editor you are working and coding with.

UPDATE :

Added another great oldskool C64 Logo editor Called Logo o matic
Create C64 styled logos and fonts and save them on the fly
you can use them in own oldskool C64 remake productions

The Read me files are now live watchable
Once you select it a blue M icon shows up on the right option bar
Click it and you see the readme in normal vieuw like the screenshot

Also received permission from TotorMan to use his CODEF Remakes inside the editor.
Thank you buddy for creating these great remakes and letting us use them...
